Mary Catherine “Mary” Walsh Fogle Mary Catherine “Mary” Walsh Fogle, age 64, a lifelong resident of Erie, PA, crossed into her next life on Sunday, September 1, 2024, after a longtime health battle. Mary was welcomed into the world, November 26, 1959, on a snowy, Thanksgiving Day, to the late Geraldine (Carrigan) and Richard Walsh. During Mary’s early years, she attended St James School and McDowell High School. Mary was the only girl of four children. She was the loving sister to: Robert (Betty) Walsh, John (Jennifer) Keene, David (Christy) Walsh, and Kevin Walsh. Mary’s mother passed when she was only 9 years old and was raised alongside Richard by Dorothy Walsh. Mary had a love for cooking for others and spent her working career filling the stomachs of others as she worked in different restaurant establishments and nursing facilities in Erie County. Her final shift she worked was with Independence Court Senior Home prior to taking the opportunity to spend more time with her family. Mary was the mother to Kristy (Derrick) Arnold, Kyle McLaughlin (Arielle Ross), and James (Jessica) Fogle and the wife to Richard M. Fogle. Mary loved spending time with her family including her grandchildren: Nathan, Desiree, Jayden, Grayson, Jordynn, Lillian, and great – granddaughter, Adriana. She was a die-hard Cleveland Browns fan throughout her life, even when they would lose. She had a love for dogs and will join not only relatives who have passed on before her, but her loving pup, Capone. She had of love for cooking and baking that her children will miss as she was the “go to” person when they had cooking questions. Mary will be deeply missed for her laughter, love, and compassion which she shared with not only her family but friends. The family would like to thank the Northwestern Pennsylvania Life Center for Mary during these last few years. Friends may call at Dusckas – Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc.,4216 Sterrettania Rd on Thursday, September 19, 2024 from 3 pm until the time of a Memorial Service at 7 pm. Private interment. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
