David Edward Bressler David Edward Bressler, age 80, passed away on June 6, 2024. He was born in Somerville, NJ, on August 1, 1943, the son of the late Edward F. and Dolores H. Sturzenegger Bressler. He was a long-time resident in the Chester and Long Valley area until relocating to PA to enjoy his retirement years. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by one nephew Justin Denward Harris, and one grandson Christian Edward Bressler. He is survived by his wife Kathleen L. Fields Bressler, their five children: William, Christofer, Timothy, Amy, and Erich, one brother Gregory Bressler, two sisters; Ann Berg and Elizabeth Richardson. “Grandfather” was blessed with 17 grandchildren: Christian, Kathleen, Helen, Zachary, Emily, Quenten, Jennifer, Jason, Nickolas, Stephen, Cambron, Meghan, Rachel, Elisabeth, Jacquelyn, Cara, and Amy-M, 3 great-grandchildren; Amelia, Levi, and Everett. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, ALSAC/St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or the Alzheimer’s Association Greater PA Chapter, 1128 State St., Suite 301, Erie, PA 16501. Private arrangements were handled by the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd.
