Obituary of Harold M. Konnerth

Harold M. Konnerth Harold M. Konnerth, age 95, of Erie, passed away suddenly at his residence on Thursday, October 24, 2024. He was born on February 26, 1929, in Erie, the son of the late John and Agnes Plattner Konnerth. He was employed by Automotive Parts Warehouse for 36 years, retiring in 1993 as the warehouse manager. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church of the Covenant where he was a Deacon and an active volunteer. Harold enjoyed hunting, fixing automobiles, and bowling. He was a life member of the Siebenbuerger Club, Star Club, and the Cascade Club. He was preceded in death by five brothers: Arthur, John, Henry, William, and his twin, Oscar Konnerth, and one sister Elsie Garber. Harold is survived by his beloved wife Edith L. Elliott Konnerth, two daughters; Susan Tassone Weber (Duane) of Waterford, Barbara Kuch (Edward) of Erie, one son Arthur Konnerth (Karlita) of Valrico, FL, four grandchildren; Matthew Waters, Rebecca Kisgen, Emily Richardson, Rachel Jackson, nine great-grandchildren, one cousin Sharon Patterson, two nieces and one nephew. Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Tuesday, October 29, 2024 from 3 pm until 7 pm and are invited there on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, from 10 am until the time of the Funeral Service at 11 am. Interment Laurel Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Orphan Angels Cat Sanctuary, 5439 West Lake Rd., Erie, PA 16505.
