I am so sorry to hear of Don’s passing. He was my drummer at Erie First for many years when I led worship, and a true friend of our family. He and Cathi often watched our son Chase or took him to sports events, we served on a mission trip to Italy together … and he played drums for my Christmas album. We moved away in 2010, so I had not seen him in a long while but always thought of him as one of the best drummers and humans I’d ever known. Prayers for comfort for his family. The Wheelers

I was sorry to hear of the passing of my Strong Vincent Class of 1973 classmate. I was co-chair of our class reunion last year and am so glad I was able to convince him to attand. We will all have fond memories of our time spent with him there reminiscing and having fun, I have been praying for him since we spoke following the reunion and he confided in me that he was ill. I am extending my deepest sympathies to Don's family and friends. He was one of the truly good guys and his loss will surely be missed. I have attached the formal photo and a candid photo from our class reunion Memory Book. As you can see, Don, fifty years later, was still our loveable class clown! Rest in peace my friend.

To the family of Don. My condolences to his wife and his family. I graduated with Don in 1973 not to mention that he was in my homeroom. We as classmates of 1973 will miss him dearly. He was a memorable friend and a great teacher. He will be remembered always. RIP . Mark Duke

Please accept our prayers and condolences on your loss. Don was a kind and gentle man, and I had the privilege of serving with him on our condominium board. His faith and positive attitude during his illness were quite inspiring. Rest in peace, Don.
