Obituary of Judy Ann Stubenhofer

Judy Ann Stubenhofer Judy Ann (Cole) Stubenhofer, age 73, was called to glory on Thursday, December 19, 2024. Judy was born on March 16, 1951, to the late Lynn and Betty Cole. Judy was a life-long resident of Erie, PA. Judy was a graduate of McDowell H.S. and after graduation, she became a beautician and owned and operated her own business. Judy loved her work in helping others look beautiful. Judy loved traveling and seeing the world with her family, especially on a cruise ship. She loved the Christmas holiday. Judy is survived by the love of her life, James Edward Stubenhofer, Sr., whom she married on April 10, 1971, her three boys; James, Jr. (Wendy), Jay (Carrie), Jerry (Beth), two sisters; Marjorie Williams and Susan Lathrop (Scott), and six grandchildren: Anthony, Jeremy, Johanna, Derrick, Jack, and Luke. Judy was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Grazier and a brother, Larry Cole. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Saturday, December 28, 2024, from 3 pm until the time of a prayer service at 7 pm. Burial will be private at Laurel Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Judy’s name may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at ALSAC/St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
