Lois Elaine (McCully) Malmberg

Lois Elaine (McCully) Malmberg, age 89, of East Springfield, PA, passed away at Pleasant Ridge Manor on Monday, December 23, 2024. She was born in Boswell, PA, the daughter of the late Willaim E. and Elizabeth Smith McCully. Lois returned to the Erie area about fifteen years ago after living in South FL since the early 80’s.

She owned and operated Lois’s Beauty Salon on State St. in Erie in the 1970’s and was an integral part of running their business in S. FL, Tunnel Tire.

She was a member of Church of God in Erie. She is survived by her husband Robert William Malmberg, her son Dion Malmberg (Lisa), one sister Mona Day, one brother Walter Smith (Sonny), her grandchildren: DJ Malmberg (Jessica), Joshua Malmberg (Michelle), Samuel Malmberg (Krystina), Tessa McCarrier (Tyler) and ten great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sons; Patrick and Sean Malmberg, and one sister, Joan Lorence. Private arrangements were handled by the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. A place of service will be announced at a later time.
