Olga was definitely the heart of the family. She holds a special place in my heart being my Godmother. Luckily I got to share with her a year or so ago a picture of the tree topper of the little angel doll she gave me when I was 5 maybe. My parents never let me play with it but put it on their tree until I moved out & got it back. It's still on my tree! I have soo many memories of growing up next door to you all from a young age on. Those were such good times!! I especially loved when Olga made pizzelles and gave us Cooney's a stack!! They were the best. I wish I was there in person to offer my condolences. Thank you Lynn for sharing that story. Very inspirational. It's wonderful that you have cherished that gift of the tree topper all these years. Ironically, this year was the first Christmas that I did not make pizzelles, but I certainly will moving forward.
