Obituary of Daniel Aulenbacher

Daniel M. Aulenbacher Daniel M. Aulenbacher, age 47, of Millcreek Twp. died Friday, March 23, 2007 at St. Vincent Health Center after a short illness. He was born July 16, 1959 in Erie, a son of Carol A. Hanson Aulenbacher of Carlisle, Pa. and Charles W. Aulenbacher and his wife, Joan of Erie. Daniel graduated from Fairview High School in 1977. He received his certificate in drafting from Erie County Vo-Tech. He worked at Erie Press System as a machine operator for 25 years until a debilitating motorcycle accident in 2000. He enjoyed playing rugby, racing motocross, building motocross tracks, and working out at Pennbriar. He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents. In addition to his parents, survivors include one daughter, Jennifer Aulenbacher of Erie, one sister, Betty Wolf of Erie, three brothers, Charlie Aulenbacher and his wife, Terri of Fairview, Edward Aulenbacher and his wife, Crystal of Newville, Pa., and Steven Aulenbacher of Carlisle, Pa. Also surviving are six nieces and nephews, Lydia, Calvin, Zachary, Steven, Elizabeth, and Joey. Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Road, on Monday from 5:00 p.m. until the time of a funeral service there at 8:00 p.m. Burial will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home.
