Laura A. Bisese Hubbard


Laura A. Hubbard, age 89, of Millcreek Twp., formerly of Pittsburgh, passed Saturday, May 28, 2011 at UPMC Hamot. She was born on November 24, 1921 in Pittsburgh, the daughter of the late, Joseph and Edna Ramage Bisese.


She was a former volunteer at the TREC Ctr. and Presque Isle State Park. She was a tour guide through Blue Bird Coach Lines and was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed cooking and gardening. Laura volunteered her services with the Republican Party. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 68 years, Ray Hubbard, in 2010 and a brother, Robert Bisese.


She is survived by one daughter, Diane Kueker (Marshall) of Roseville, CA, one son Louis A. Hubbard (Kathy) of Longview, TX, four grandchildren: Christine Butler, Louis Hubbard, Paul Kueker, and Kristen Kent. Also surviving are five great- grandchildren and five step great- grandchildren.


All friends and family are invited to a graveside service at Laurel Hill Cemetery on Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. with the Rev. John Dyke presiding. Arrangements are being handled by the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd.


In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Presque Isle Partnership for a Memory Bench in honor of Laura and Ray Hubbard, c/o TREC, 301 Peninsula Dr., Erie, PA 16505.
