Frank H. Johnson
Frank H. Johnson, beloved husband of Beverly J. Szczechowski Johnson and loving "Pappy" to Brett M. Johnson and Carrie C. Beasom was killed in a motorcycle accident on Friday, June 11, 2010. Frank lived his life to the fullest, enjoying boating, snowmobiling, motorcycling, and all that life had to offer; never wanting to waste a minute of his precious time here. Frank was the most caring, loving, and helpful person to everyone he knew; even to those he didn't know, he helped them in an instant, without batting an eye. He was always joking and making people around him laugh. Everyone will deeply miss him.
Frank was a sales associate at Bob Ferrando Ford World for 17 years and was employed at Zurn Energy Division for 27 years prior to that. He was a 1967 graduate of General McLane High School and earned a Certificate in Business Management from Penn State Behrend.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents, Peg and Robert "Bob" Johnson, his mother and father-in-law, Clara and Joseph "Joe" Szczechowski.
He is survived by his wife, Beverly, one son, Brett Johnson and his wife, Jen Altman, of Millcreek, one daughter, Carrie Beasom and her husband, Jason, of Millcreek, one sister, Janet Johnson, of Oceanside, CA, sisters and brothers-in-law; Lorraine and Bill Ballou, Joe and Earin Szczechowski, II, nephews: Steve Balogh, Brian Balogh, Joe Szczechowski, III, nieces: Heather Monteath, Toni Daniels, Melissa Ferraro, and many great nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m., Monday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and are invited there on Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. for prayers followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Peace R.C.
