Obituary of Jennifer Johnson

Jennifer R. Johnson Jennifer R. Johnson, age 31, of Erie, died Friday, January 13, 2012 at her residence. She was born in Erie on January 25, 1980, the daughter of James J. and Bonnie L. Bedlow Johnson, Jr. She was a 1998 graduate of General McLane High School. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Rachel Johnson and her maternal grandparents, Robert and Evelyn Bedlow. Jennifer is survived by one brother, RJ Johnson (Dacia Hamilton), nieces; Madelynn and Mayley Johnson, nephews; Brady Sager and Brenden Mayo, grandfather, James Johnson (JJ), her uncles and aunts: Gary Johnson (Sharon), David Johnson (Cathy), Brian Johnson (Diane), Donald Johnson (Susan), Robert Bedlow (also her Godfather), her Godmother, Chiara Wawrzyniak, and many cousins. Jennifer had a strong faith and loved the Lord. She was a friend to everyone she met throughout her life and was very proud of her independence. She loved animals, arts and crafts, and she especially loved spending time with family and friends. She was deeply devoted to her nieces and nephews. Jennifer enjoyed camping, in particular canoeing and horseback riding at Cook Forest. She loved her time at Waldameer riding everything with her nieces and nephews. Jennifer participated in the TREC program for many years and played sled hockey with the Shriners team. She expressed her love of life through poetry, photography, and videos. Jennifer was loved by many and will be deeply missed by family and friends. Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Monday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and are invited there on Tuesday for prayers at 10:30 a.m. followed by a funeral service at Millcreek Community Church, 4444 Sterrettania Rd. at 11:00 a.m. Interment Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery.
