Kathleen Gothard Johnston Kathleen G. Gothard Johnston, age 90, died Monday, December 15, 2008 at Erie Presbyterian Lodge. She was born on May 16, 1918 in Welland, Ontario, Canada, to the late Robert Worthington Gothard and Pearl Mitchener Gothard. Her family immigrated to Erie when she was fourteen years old. She married Milton Leroy Johnston in 1947. She was employed by Talon Industries in quality control. She has been an active member of First Presbyterian Church of the Covenant. She was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Gothart and a sister, Mary Huffman. She is survived by one son, Robert L. Johnston (Kathy) of Lakewood, NY, one daughter, Barbara Eylenberg, of Paris, KY, five grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and many beloved nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 4216 Sterrettania Rd on Tuesday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and are invited there on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. for the funeral service conducted by the Rev. Dr. Dale Southhorn. Interment Laurel Hill Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Presbyterian Church of the Covenant Women's Association, 250 West 7th St., Erie, PA 16501.
