Eleanor Schuetz Jones
Eleanor Schuetz Jones, age 92, of Millcreek Twp., formerly of Harborcreek Twp., passed away Friday, June 22, 2012 at Forest View. She was born in McKean Twp. on February 12, 1920, the daughter of the late Daniel and Jennie Jenkins Schuetz.
Eleanor and her husband, Carl, owned and operated a grape farm in North East Twp. for many years. Eleanor enjoyed sewing, especially making quilts and tending her beautiful flowers.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl, and two brothers; Vern and Earl Schuetz and one sister, Ann Ruland. She is survived by a daughter, Linda Jones, and several nieces and nephews.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. The Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. is handling arrangements.
