Obituary of Patricia Kalinowski

Patricia Eileen Kalinowski Patricia Eileen Kalinowski, 59, of Erie died Saturday August 28, 2010 surrounded by family following a courageous battle with cancer. She was born January 12, 1951 in Erie, PA the daughter of the late Joseph Kalinowski and the late Alice Eileen Davies Kalinowski. Pat was a 1968 graduate of McDowell High School. She was previously employed by S.A. Wagner Insurance Co and then at Erie County Technical School where she had worked for 32 years. She was an active lifelong member of St. Julia R.C. Church where she had taught Religious Education classes for many years. She enjoyed spending time with friends and family, especially Kelly and Allison Kallin, Jennifer Wells and her husband Mark along with their three children Logan, Aubree and Ethan. Surviving family members are sisters, Shannon Kallin of Santa Monica, CA and Joan Gaerttner (Bill) of Aliso Viejo, CA. Brothers Timothy (Mary Beth) of Erie, Fr. Joseph, Capt U.S. Army of Madigan Army Medical Center, Tacoma, WA, Thomas (Jane) of Erie, Stephen of Germantown, MD and James (Bonnie) of Fayetteville, NC. Also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends may call the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 4216 Sterrettania Rd, Erie, PA 16506 on Monday August 30 from 2-5pm and 7-9pm, and are invited to attend a prayer service on Tuesday August 31 at 9:00 am at the funeral home followed by a mass of Christian Burial at St. Julia, R.C. Church with Fr. Joseph Kalinowski, Captain U.S. Army officiating. Interment will be at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
