George N. Karaisz
George N. Karaisz, age 60, of Erie, passed away Friday, June 03, 2011 at his residence after a brief illness. He was born in Erie on September 11, 1950, the son of the late George R. and Eleanore L. Wisinski Karaisz.
He was a graduate of Erie Tech Memorial H.S. and the Pittsburgh Institute of Aeronautics. He was employed at GE and Zurn Industries. He enjoyed NASCAR racing, and collecting coins.
He is survived by three sons: David J. Karaisz of Millcreek, Bart A. Karaisz of Pittsburgh, PA, Jonathan B. Karaisz, of Erie, four grandchildren: Carissa, Meadow, David L. and Echo Karaisz and George's former wife, Lil Karaisz of Millcreek.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are being handled by the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. The family would like to thank the Asera Care Hospice for their wonderful care of dad during his illness.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
