Anna A. Kartashov Anna A. Tunina Kartashov, age 74, of Erie, died Saturday, July 11, 2009 at Hamot Medical Center. She was born on October 30, 1934 in Svoboda, Russia, the daughter of the late Audrey D. Zelenin and Ustinia I. Tunina. She was a member of the Russian Pentecostal Church. She was a wonderful and great mom; very kind and she loved people the way no one else knew how. She was a spiritually strong woman and mother. She took care of everyone. She was preceded in death by her husband, Denis T. Kartashov, and one brother. She is survived by seven daughters: Irina Veretnov (Vladimir), Marina Baranov (Vitaliy), Yelena Scharamchevsky all of Erie, Olga Drozhzhin (Yuriy) of Knoxville, TN, Lyudmila Maksimova (Vyacheslav) of Bedford, IN, Nadezhda Korets (Sergey), of Abakan, and Raisa Belousova (Aleksey) of Cincinnati, OH, three sons: Iosif Kartashov, Andrey Kartashov (Anna), Veneamin Kartashov (Tatyana), of Abakan, 30 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, one sister, Valentina, and one brother, Aleksandr. Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Monday from 7 to 9 p.m., Tuesday from 1:00 p.m. until time of service there at 2:00 p.m. Interment Laurel Hill Cemetery.
