Obituary of Frederick King JR

Frederick "Fred" "Jerry" D. King, Jr. Frederick "Fred" "Jerry" D. King, Jr., age 77, of McKean Twp. died Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at Golden Living Walnut Creek. He was born on November 8, 1933 in Big Run, PA, the son of the late Frederick D., Sr. and Vera Kilmer King. He was employed at Copes Vulcan for over forty-three years until his retirement in 1995. He was a Mason and a member of Church of God, but attended Sterrettania Alliance Church. He enjoyed woodworking, painting, and was an amateur geneticist. He is survived by his wife of forty-seven years, J. Carol Kelm King; two sons, Paul H. King (Kym) and Matthew J. King (Windie) both of Pittsburgh; three grandchildren: Vanessa King, William Albert Baxter, and Marlie Rae King; two sisters, Eleanor Smith of WA and Dorothy Casaday of FL. He was preceded in death by two sisters; Liddy Anderson and Marilyn Himes. Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Saturday from 1:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and are invited there on Sunday at 1:00 p.m. for the funeral service.
