Rose Ann Plonski Barnett Rose Ann Plonski Barnett, age 73, of Hess Ave., Erie, died Friday, September 9, 2011, at Pleasant Ridge Manor-East. She was born in Erie on November 6, 1937, the daughter of the late Joseph and Florence Plonski. She returned to Erie in 1973 after serving with the U.S. Air Force and traveling. She was a member of St. Stanislaus Church, was a choir member at St. Patrick RC Church, and with many of her friends she attended Crossroads Community Baptist Church. Rose Ann enjoyed shopping, Jeopardy, Bible study, watching football, and spending time with friends and family. She is survived by her children: Marvin David Barnett, Janice Marie Varone, Rosemary Eileen McDonald, and Sandra Rae Sterling; one sister, Chris Adams; two brothers, Paul and Dennis Plonski; and four grandchildren: David Robert Barnett, Michael John Barnett, Christopher David Varone, and Christina Marie Malanaldo. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Joseph and Richard Plonski; one daughter, Karen Callie; her first husband, TSGT Marvin Robert Barnett; and her second husband, SSGT Robert C. Lenehan. Friends may attend a memorial service at the Calvary Cemetery Chapel on Tuesday, September 13, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. The Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of the funeral home or to Orphaned Angels Cat Sanctuary, 5439 West Lake Rd., Erie, PA 16505.
