Obituary of Margaret Kress

Margaret R. Bachenko Kress Margaret R. Bachenko Kress, age 95, of Cambridge Springs, passed away at her residence on Thursday, March 7, 2013. She was born on April 19, 1917 in Langloth, PA, the daughter of the late, Thomas and Elizabeth Swarz Bachenko. She was employed as a beautician, seamstress, and sales clerk. Margaret enjoyed gardening, sewing, and being a great mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Frank Kress, who died in 1999, one sister, Anna, three brothers: Andy, Tom, Mike, and one son, Francis X. Kress. She is survived by one daughter, Janet Kress, of Cambridge Springs, one sister, Elizabeth Rauterkus, of Monrovia, MD, seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and her dog, Pixie. Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Monday from 2 p.m. until time of service at 4:15 p.m. and again from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. Private interment.
