Frank W. Latt Frank W. Latt, age 93, of Millcreek Twp., died peacefully at his residence on Friday, January 27, 2012. He was born in Sheffield, PA on July 2, 1918, the son of the late, Alan and Aminia Johnson Latt. He was a 1936 graduate of Sheffield H.S. and received his BS degree from Gannon College in Science and Accounting in 1951. Frank served in the US Navy as a Yeoman Third Class from 1943-46 during WWII. He was employed at Pennzoil in Oil City until 1939 then was employed at International Harvester in Cleveland, OH and Continental Rubber until his retirement from there in 1956. He was a volunteer at Asbury Woods, was a member of the Audubon Society, enjoyed working in his back yard, and his dogs. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth M. Johnson Latt in 2011. He is survived by one brother-in-law, Harold Johnson, of Fairview, two sisters-in-law; Helen Robinson of Houston, Violet Edy, of Edinboro, two nieces; Carla Lewis, of Sheffield, Jill Fraser, of Warren, PA, and several other nieces and nephews. Services were under the direction of the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Humane Society of NW PA, 2507 Zimmerly Rd., Erie, PA 16506 or to the Erie City Mission, 1023 French Street, Erie, PA 16501.
