Obituary of Daniel Leehan

Daniel "Dan" M. Leehan Daniel "Dan" M. Leehan, age 83, of McKean, died suddenly at his residence on Sunday, March 27, 2011 surrounded by his loving family. He was born on June 2, 1927 in Albion, the son of the late James C. and Virginia Bumgarner Leehan. Dan served in Merchant Marines/Coast Guard and the Army. He was employed at and retired from D'Amico Auto Body. He served twenty-two years as a volunteer at the Edinboro Food Pantry. He enjoyed outdoor activities, especially gardening. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Belle Davis Leehan in 2006, one son, Michael Leehan, one uncle, Charles, and one brother, Jack Leehan. He is survived by three daughters: Kellie L. Rosage of NC, Shannon V. Craig (William) of McKean, Rhonda Carter (Marlo) of NC, two brother, Bill (Vivian) Leehan of Edinboro and Tom (Vicky) Leehan of Albion, seven grandchildren: Brynn, Eric, Bryce, Corey, Alicia Pettingale (Jake), Zack, and Cody, two great-grandchildren, Malachi and Elijah Pettingale, and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Wednesday from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. until time of service at 8:30 p.m. Private interment.
