Joseph W. Limrick Joseph "Joe" W. Limrick, age 93, of Cranesville, PA formerly of FL and Erie, died Friday, November 11, 2011 at UPMC-Hamot. He was born in Indiana County, PA on June 2, 1918, the son of the late, Joseph L. and Anna Maude Bowers Limrick. He served in the US Navy during WWII as a helmsman on the LST. Joe was a coal miner in his early years and then was employed at Erie's GE for 35 years until his retirement. He worked as a security guard after that. He was a member of the Perry-Keystone Masonic Lodge #392 F&AM. He enjoyed reading and walking. He was preceded in death by his wife, Eleanor Rae Derbeque Limrick in 1996 and 8 brothers and 5 sisters. He is survived by one daughter, Maxine E. Limrick of Cranesville, two sons, Barry J. Limrick (Belva) of Waterford, David M. Limrick of Cranesville, four grandchildren: Eric and Laura Curry, Shawn Limrick, and Kendra King, 6 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Tuesday from 4 until 8:00 p.m. A Masonic service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Private interment. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Perry-Keystone Masonic Lodge #392, c/o Charles Reichard, Sec., 5260 Northern DR., Fairview, PA 16415 or to the charity of one's choice.
