Edward "Ed" J. Lindenberger, Jr.


Edward J. Lindenberger, age 66, of Millcreek Twp., died Wednesday, June 2, 2010 at St. Vincent Health System surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Erie on May 25, 1944, the son of the late Edward J. and Betty Jean Aubrey Lindenberger, Sr.


Ed served in the 101st Airborne Division during the Vietnam War. He was employed at Rick Weaver Buick. He was a very involved member and head usher at Erie Christian Fellowship Church. He enjoyed gardening, landscaping and golf.


He is survived by his wife, Lee Ann Searle Lindenberger, two daughters; Lisa Firestone (Rush) of Wattsburg, Jennie Lindenberger of Millcreek, three sons; Edward Joseph Lindenberger, III (Melissa) of Erie, Colin Von Keith of Erie, Jesse L. Lindenberger of Egg Harbor Twp., NJ, three sisters; Patricia Jean Currie (Jim) of Seaville, NJ, Cheryl Ann Padovani of Erie, Marlene Miller (Robert) of Erie, three brothers; Dale Bohman (Nancy) of Cambridge Springs, Mark Bohman (Carol) of Erie, Arthur Bohman of Erie, five grandchildren: Markie, Brielle, Andrew, Ashley, Chase, and many nieces and nephews.


A celebration of Ed's life will be held at the Erie Christian Fellowship Church, 5900 Sterrettania Rd. on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of a memorial service at 10:30 a.m. Private interment. Arrangements were handled by the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd.


In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
