Stanley Maisner

Stanley Maisner, age 92, was born on March 11, 1920 and passed away on Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at the Erie Veteran's Affairs Medical Center.

Stanley was an animal lover who enjoyed listening to Polka music, working outside in his yard, and spending time with his close family.

He is survived by two sons; Stanley J. Maisner and his wife, Joy L. Maisner of Erie, Gerald Maisner of Erie, one granddaughter, Lindsay A. Woodel and her fiancé, Michael S. Horvath, and his great grandson, Andrew Joseph. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Stanley was preceded in death by his wife, Helen, and recently his grandson, Joseph S. Maisner and several brothers and sisters.

Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and are invited to All Saints Parish, 11264 Rt. 97, Waterford, PA for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Interment Erie County Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to the Recreational Unit at the Erie Veteran's Affairs Medical Center, 135 East 38th Street, Erie, PA 16504.
