Ruth Ann Malone
Ruth Ann "Ruthie" Malone, 5, of Erie, PA, passed away peacefully at her home on October 3, 2012. She was born on November 1, 2006 in Erie, PA. Left to cherish her memory are her parents, John and Julie Malone, her sisters; Gabryel and Mary Beth, and her brother, Brook.
She is survived by grandparents, John and Yolanda Malone, David and Rebecca Christopher, and Sharon Christopher, and a host of extended family and friends.
Ruth's family is grateful for the physicians and staff at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh.
Ruth enjoyed swimming, travel, long walks, and activities at Barber National Institute.
The family will receive friends at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Sunday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and are invited there on Monday at 10:15 for prayers followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Jude R.C. Church conducted by the Rev. John Detisch at 11:00 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Ruth's name to one of the following: Dr. Gertrude A. Barber Foundation, 100 Barber Place, Erie, PA 16507; Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh Foundation, One Children's Hospital Drive, Central Plant, Floor 3, 4401 Penn Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15224; or Make-A-Wish, The Gulf Tower, 707 Grant Street, 37th Floor, Pittsburgh, PA 15219-1916.
