Kenneth L. Marks, Jr.
Kenneth "Kenny" L. Marks, Jr., age 64, of Millcreek Twp. died Tuesday, January 29, 2008 at Erie Veteran's Affairs Medical Center. He was born in Erie, PA on March 7, 1943, the son of the late Boyd and Annabelle Baine VanTassell.
He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. He was employed at Toledo Scales for twenty-five years and currently at Pleasant Ridge Manor West in security. He was a member of the American Legion, Siebenbuerger Club, and enjoyed bowling.
He is survived by one sister, Margie Ebner, and husband, James, of Waterford; two brothers, Robert A. VanWie, and wife, Donna, of Erie, and Scott VanTassell and wife, Beth, of Harborcreek; several nieces and nephews, and two great nieces.
Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Road, on Thursday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and are invited there on Friday for the funeral service at 10:00 a.m. Interment Laurel Hill Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
