Obituary of Ralph Baxter JR

Ralph A. Baxter, Jr. Ralph A. Baxter, Jr., age 67, of Mt. Airy, MD, died Friday, August 14, 2009 in MD. He was born in Erie on May 13, 1942, the son of Charlotte Baxter McPherson and the late Ralph A. Baxter, Sr. He had resided in the MD area for 41 years. He served in the US Air Force and was employed by the Department of Defense. He was a member of the American Legion, Coin Club, Antique Auto Club of America, and owned his antique business, the "Back in Time" in Frederick, MD, collected coins and old record albums. He is survived by his wife, Rose Wentworth Baxter, of Mt. Airy, two daughters, Bonnie Briceno (Alex) of Germany and Jennifer Baxter, one sister, Barbara Vinson (Chris) of Millcreek, and two grandchildren, Dakota and Sydney Briceno. The family would like to thank the nurses, doctors, and staff at the Cancer Care Center in Frederick, MD, the Dove House, Hospice of Carroll County, and the staff at FMH IV Therapy Center. Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd on Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and are invited there on Wednesday for the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Interment Laurel Hill Cemetery.
