John J. Roy McGregor John "Papa" "Mac" McGregor, age 76, of Millcreek Twp., died at his residence on Wednesday, December 16, 2009 after a 6 year battle with prostate cancer. He was born on December 9, 1933 in Liverpool, England, the son of the late, Jack and Sarah McGregor. He was employed as a Master Mason and worked at Hardner & Doyle, Loblaws, and McGregor Construction. He enjoyed traveling and his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Veronica, in 1977 and a sister, Jean Lloyd. He is survived by his significant other, Pat Conley, his children; Steven McGregor (Becky), Kevin McGregor (Holly), and Karen McGregor-Shearer (Tim), sisters: Norma Vickers, Sandy Anderson, Heather Barlow, all of England, Barbara Matchett, Hilda Lloyd of US and one brother, William McGregor of Erie, grandchildren: Jessica, Brad, Samantha, Troy, Jett, Katie, Justin, and Mat McGregor. Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Friday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and are invited there on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. for the funeral service.
