Alyce I. Frazier McKay


Alyce I. Frazier McKay, age 84, of Millcreek Twp. died Tuesday, May 29, 2007 at her residence. She was born on July 26, 1922, in Erie, the daughter of the late, John and Gertrude Frazier.


She was employed with and retired from the Millcreek Twp. Police Dept. Alyce was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church where she was a member of the Tuesday morning Bible Study, the Bell Choir and the Bicentennial Committee. She enjoyed painting.


She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Lyle McKay (2002), one daughter, Laureen McKay, and one brother, Jack Frazier.


Alyce is survived by one daughter, Sharon Stancliff (Tim), of Erie, one son, Roger McKay (Mary), of Fairfax, VA. She was the grandmother of: Tim, Laura, Sarah, and Matthew McKay, and Rebekah, Julie, and Timothy Neil Stancliff, one brother, Neil Frazier (Jan), of CT, and one sister-in-law, Alvena McKay, of Erie.


Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Friday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and are invited there on Saturday for the funeral service at 10:00 a.m. conducted by the Rev. Daniel Callahan. Interment Laurel Hill Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Great Lakes Hospice, 1700 Peach St., Suite 244 Erie, PA 16501 or to Westminster Presbyterian Church, 3642 West 26th Street, Erie, PA 16506.
