Obituary of Lawrence McWilliams JR

Lawrence W. McWilliams, Jr. Lawrence W. "Mac", "Larry", McWilliams, Jr., age 79, of Millcreek Twp., died Sunday, November 6, 2011 at Select Specialty Hospital. He was born in Pittsburgh, PA, on February 15, 1932, the son of the late, Lawrence W. and Nellie Duffy McWilliams, Sr. He served in the US Army Med-Corp during the Korean War. He was employed at Erie Malleable Iron Co., Larson Pharmaceuticals, and the United Postal Service. He was a member of St. Jude the Apostle Catholic Church. Mac enjoyed fishing, walking, reading, watching sports, especially the Indianapolis 500 every year with his son; and spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife, Diane H. Heiser McWilliams, one son, Lawrence W. McWilliams III (Helen Jean) of Cuyahoga Falls, OH, three grandchildren: Regina Anne, Laura Jean, and George Lawrence McWilliams all of Cuyahoga Falls. Close friends may attend a Memorial Service at the chapel at Calvary Cemetery on Monday at 11:00 a.m. followed by private inurnment at Trinity Cemetery. Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd is handling arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Western, PA Chapter, Convention Tower, Suite 1000, 960 Penn Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15222.
