Doreen "Reen" Leroy Mennecke
Doreen "Reen" Leroy Mennecke, age 49, of Erie, passed away on Tuesday, February 26, 2013 of natural causes. She was born in Columbus, Ohio on May 28, 1963, the daughter of Chester S. and Marlene F. Radzek Leroy, of Erie.
She graduated from Academy H.S. She loved her children, grandchildren, Tweetie Bird, the NY Jets, and law enforcement television.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl V. Mennecke, in 1997 and one grandson, Jadyn Coughlin. She is survived by her children: Nicholas Mennecke, Natalie Mennecke, and Peter Barko, of New York, NY, five grandchildren: Jonah Torres, Juliona, Jordan, Joelena, and Josiah, two sisters; Marsha Holland and Nancy Drake, and one brother, Neil Leroy.
Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Tuesday from 12:00 (noon) until time of service at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
