Obituary of Robert Michalski

Robert "Bob" J. Michalski Robert "Bob" J. Michalski, age 85, of Erie, died Thursday, June 9, 2011, at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Erie on June 3, 1926, the son of the late, Joseph E. and Emma Miller Michalski. He was a long time employee at Erie Bolt and Nut until his retirement. During retirement he and his wife, Mary, enjoyed golfing together at Pleasure Golf and Erie Golf Course where he scored two holes in one. He also enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Mary V. Salvatore Michalski, two daughters, Judy A. Ferra (Mark) of Plainsboro, NJ, Karen Reilly (Jim) of Erie, two sons, Robert J. Michalski (Penny) of Summit Twp., Rick Michalski (Mary Jane) of Albion, nine grandchildren: Michelle, Margie, Becky, Alissa, Rick, Jr., Amanda, Melissa, Caitlin, and Lauren, four great grandchildren: Kassidy, Korbin, Breanna, and Izzabelle. He was preceded in death by two infant brothers. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are being handled by the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd.
