Obituary of Thomas Mickol

Thomas Mickol Thomas Mickol, age 77, of Erie, died Saturday, September 13, 2008 at Pleasant Ridge Manor-West. He was born on June 11, 1931 in Erie, the son of the late, John and Anna Wisniewski Mickol. He was employed as a roofer for Mickol Roofing and he also worked a number of years at the Erie Water Dept. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church and enjoyed collecting, reading, golfing, and swimming. Tom was a star football player for East H.S. and Gannon College. He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Susan Mickol in May, 2005 and one sister, Elizabeth Dougherty. Tom is survived by two sons, James Thomas Mickol (Jacqueline), Timothy James Mickol, one sister, Josephine Gustafson, one brother, Leo Mickol, and five grandchildren, Becky, Nicholas, Stefan, and Christa. Private arrangements are being handled by the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 4216 Sterrettania Rd.
