Eugene E. "Gene" Miller

Eugene E. "Gene" Miller, age 64, of Millcreek Twp., died Monday, June 2, 2008 at St. Vincent Health Center. He was born in Erie on May 17, 1944, the son of Helen Miller of Erie and the late Donald E. Miller.

Gene was employed with Lord Mfg. for 42 years, retiring as a Group Leader June 1, 2005. He was a member of the Lord Mfg. Quarter Century Club, a Friday morning Golf League at Overlake, and Thursday Three Man Bowling League at Eastland. Gene especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, who meant the world to him.

Besides his mother, survivors include his wife of 42 years, Donna Miller; two children, Mark Miller and Mindy Malinowski (Kirt), all of Millcreek; one sister, Kathleen Porter of Erie; three grandchildren, Tyler, Cory and Jenna Miller; many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home, 4216 Sterrettania Road, on Thursday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and are invited to attend a Funeral Service there on Friday at 11 a.m. conducted by Rev. Aaron Kerr, Pastor, First United Methodist Church. Interment, Laurel Hill Cemetery.
