Obituary of Frances Moniewski

Frances Kinderis Moniewski Frances Moniewski, age 83, of Erie, formerly of Baden, Pa., died Monday, April 16, 2007 at Manchester Presbyterian Lodge. She was born on September 28, 1923 in Ambridge, Pa., the daughter of the late, John and Julia Kinderis. She resided in the Erie area for 8 years. Frances was a registered nurse at Sewickley Valley Hospital for 30 years. She was a member of Christian Mothers, C.D. of A. (St. John's Church- Baden, Pa.) and a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel R.C. Church. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, theater, bingo, card playing, and needlecrafts. Her husband of 37 years, Anthony J. Moniewski, who died in 1983, one sister, Ann Triska, and one brother, George Vorce, preceded her in death. Three children survive Frances: Suzanne Rimer-Furr and her husband, Roger, of Baden, Pa., Michael A. Moniewski and his wife, Patty, of Tionesta, Pa., and Jean A. Malthaner and her husband, Michael, of Millcreek. Also surviving are four grandchildren: Nathan Moniewski and wife, Aimee, Greg McBride and wife, Carol, A.J. Moniewski and wife, Charlenne, and Michael Rimer and five great grandchildren. Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home, Inc. 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Wednesday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and are invited there on Thursday at 12:15 p.m. for prayers followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel R.C. Church at 1:00 p.m. officiated by Fr. John Malthaner. Interment Fair Oaks Cemetery, Ambridge, Pa.
