Obituary of Lindsay Moore

Lindsay Ruth Moore Lindsay Ruth Moore, age 26, of Millcreek Twp. died Sunday, February 8, 2009 at Hamot Medical Center. Lindsay was given the middle name of "Ruth" in honor of her two grandmothers. She was born in Erie on September 16, 1982, the daughter of Lori (Delora) Metalonis and Carl Moore. She is also survived by her stepfather, John Metalonis and her stepmother, Barbara Moore, one brother, Timothy, of Erie, her maternal grandmother, Ruth Potts, of Burlington, NC, her paternal grandfather, Carl Moore, of Erie, an aunt, Valerie Padgett (George) of Burlington, NC , cousins: Joshua and Amanda Padgett, an uncle, Stephen Moore (Rosanne), of Oceanside, CA, cousins: Stephanie and Andrew Moore, many friends, including her special friend, Danny Keefer, and her beloved cat, Minnie. Lindsey was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, William Potts, and her maternal grandmother, Ruth Moore. Lindsay was a 2001 graduate with honors from McDowell High School and she graduated from Erie Business Center with honors in 2004. Lindsay was a joy to all who knew her. Her kind and loving spirit will never be forgotten. Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Wednesday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and are invited to Westminster Presbyterian Church, 3642 West 26th St. on Thursday for a Memorial Service at 11:00 a.m. Private interment.
