Rose A. Wegmiller Bradish Moorhead
Rose "Nanny" A. Wegmiller Moorhead, age 77, of Erie, died Sunday, October 25, 2009 at Hamot Medical Center after a brief illness. She was born in Erie on August 24, 1932, the daughter of the late Bud and Lavina Wegmiller. She was a devoted grandmother who loved crafting and QVC. She was the secretary for the LTL Ball & Chain Bowling League at CYS.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Moorhead, and one brother.
She is survived by one daughter, Denise M. Laughlin (Timothy R.) of Erie, two granddaughters, Lauren and Taylor Laughlin.
Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Wednesday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and are invited there on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. for the funeral service. Interment Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Erie Human Society, 2707 Interchange Rd., Erie, PA 16506.
