Obituary of Beverly Moran

Beverly Johnson Moran Beverly Johnson Moran, age 75, of Erie, died Saturday, January 10, 2009 at Hamot Medical Center following a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Erie on October 11, 1933 daughter of the late Merritt and Mildred Johnson. Beverly was a member of Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church and had previously worked as a secretary at Al's Awning Shop. She enjoyed cooking and supporting her grandchildren as they played sports. Survivors include her husband of 55 years, David G. Moran, 2 children, David P. Moran (Barbara Dusckas Moran) of Naples, FL., and Lorie Stroup (Dan) of Fairview, 1 brother, Paul Johnson (Margie) of Erie, 3 grandchildren, David C. Moran (Melissa) of Bonita Springs, Fl., Erin and Sara Stroup of Fairview, 2 great-grandchildren, Mason and Dylan Moran, many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by a granddaughter, Darcie Moran. Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home, 4216 Sterrettania Rd., on Tuesday from 2 pm until the time of the Funeral Service there at 6:30 pm conducted by Rev. Brian Moran. Private interment will be held. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Erie Presbyterian Lodge Auxiliary, 2628 Elmwood Ave., Erie, Pa. 16508.
