Earl M. Muffie, Jr.
Earl M. Muffie, Jr., age 72, of Millcreek Twp., died Monday, September 28, 2009 at his residence. He was born in DuBois, PA on September 14, 1937, the son of the late, Earl M. and Emma Webber Muffie, Sr.
He served in the US Marine Corp and worked for the CIA for a number of years. He was employed at Copes Vulcan as an inspector and was a member of Bay City Gun Club. He was an avid skeet and trap shooter and won the 12 Gauge Five Man Championship of PA.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara R. Aswell Muffie, three step-daughters: Sharon of Clayton, NC, Mary and Barbara of Millcreek, one brother, James Muffie, and eight grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one sister, Carol McCoy, and one brother, Anthony Muffie.
Friends may attend a Memorial service at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Friday at 10:00 a.m. Private interment.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
