Obituary of Joseph Murphy

Joseph J. Murphy Joseph J. Murphy, age 52, of Erie, died Saturday, October 9, 2010 at Hamot Medical Center from complications after surgery. He was born in Erie on May 8, 1958, the son of the late, Donald J., Sr. and Louise Desser Murphy. He was a 1977 graduate of Tech Memorial H.S. He was previously employed at Arnone's Deli and was also a truck driver. He participated in Boy Scouts of America and enjoyed bowling. He is survived by his wife, Debra Zimmerman Murphy, one daughter, Nicole Murphy, one stepson, T.J. Robison, three brothers: Donald, Jr. (Diane), John (Jodie), Richard Murphy (Barbara), and one sister Patricia Overmoyer (Richard). He was preceded in death by his first wife, Kathy Hall Murphy. Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Tuesday from 4 until time of Memorial Service at 7:00 p.m. Private interment.
