Obituary of Margaret Myrick

Margaret "Marge" E. Williams Myrick Margaret "Marge" E. Williams Myrick, age 99, of Millcreek Twp. passed away Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at Golden Living-Western Reserve. She was born on January 16, 1914 in Albion, the daughter of the late John and Hattie Brooks Williams. Margaret graduated from Albion H.S. She worked on ore ships during WWII and later became a food server and at one time she owned her own diner. She spent many years living in Florida with her loving husband, Tom. She loved feeding the squirrels and birds and caring for her dog, Patches. She enjoyed country music, cooking, going to lunch with her niece, Cindy Williams, and watching the Sea Wolves with her nephew, Larry Nelson. She was preceded in death by her first husband, George Hughson, her second husband, Thomas Myrick, three brothers: John, Ray, and Roy Williams, and three sisters: Mildred Peters, Gladys Sprague, and Virginia Nelson. She is survived by her stepson, John Myrick (Dee), and their children, Lauren and Philip, a special nephew, Larry Nelson, a special niece, Cindy Williams, and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the staff at Golden Living-Western Reserve for their care and compassion and also gratitude to Asera Care Hospice for all their care. Private arrangements were handled by the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd.
