Obituary of Alfred Olszewski

Alfred P. Olszewski Alfred P. Olszewski, age 94, of McKean, died Saturday, March 19, 2011 at Millcreek Community Hospital. He was born in Erie, PA on August 12, 1916, the son of the late, John J. and Louise A. Mikielski Olszewski. He had been employed at GE, American Hollow Boring, and was self employed in construction. He was a member of St. Francis Xavier Church and was a member of the Fairview Senior Citizens. He enjoyed gardening and square dancing. He was preceded in death by his wife, Geraldine Olszewski, one brother, John Olszewski, four sisters: Stella, Anna, Marie, and Hattie, and one step-son Reginald Lilley. He is survived by one sister, Dolores Volkman, one brother, Leo Olszewski (Loretta), his step children: Sandra Cady (Wallace) and Carol Lilley, four step- grandchildren, five step- great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at St. Francis Xavier Church on Tuesday (today) from 1 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. and are invited there on Wednesday for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment St. Francis Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled through the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Francis Xavier Church, 8880 West Main St., McKean, PA 16426 or to the McKean Hose Co., PO Box 241, McKean, PA 16426.
