Obituary of Donald Orr

Donald Lee Orr Donald Lee Orr, Sr. age 76, of 201 Jefferson St., Edinboro, passed away on Sunday, June 10, 2007 at his residence, surrounded by his loved ones. He was born on August 22, 1930 in Albion, the son of the late William and Catherine Lowery Orr. He graduated from Albion H.S. where he was recognized for his football playing abilities. He was in the Navy serving aboard the USS Sarsfield Destroyer. Lee was a life time member of the Zem Zem Temple of Erie and the Blue Lodge 304 of Albion, a member of the VFW Post 740 in Edinboro, and the AH Club. Before retiring, he was a part owner of Culbertson Hills Golf Club with his two brothers. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Bud and Earl Orr, two sisters, Marian Crandall and Lyla Schwan. Donald is survived by his wife, Karen M. Orr, one stepson, Donald Z. Wetsell, one stepdaughter, Debra Wetsell, three sons: Gary, Robert, and Donald Orr, one daughter, Catherine Myers, one brother, Robert Orr, one sister, Myra Chapin, close nieces, Roxi Cole, Kelly Finck, and nephew, Bill Orr. Many nieces and nephews and seven grandchildren also survive. At his request, there will be no service or calling hours.
