Obituary of Albert Osborne JR

Albert "Al" B. Osborne, Jr. Albert "Al" B. Osborne, Jr., age 85, of Fairview Twp., went to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 17, 2013 at St. Vincent Health Center. He was born in Danville, VA on October 15, 1927, the son of the late, Albert B. and Laura Hancock Osborne, Sr. Al served in the US Army during the Korean War. He was employed at General Electric Co. and Leland Aerospace Co. He was a member of First Alliance Church and sang in the choir, enjoyed woodworking, bowling, and shuffleboard. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Ruby Hall Osborne, of Fairview, one daughter, Deborah O. Minnick (Bruce) of FL, one son, Mark A. Osborne (Betsy I.) of TX, eight grandchildren: Bianca, Benjamin, Rubia, Roma, and Josiah Osborne and Lindsey, Morgan, and Tyler Minnick. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Frances O. Mitchell and Virginia O. Bass. Friends may call at First Alliance Church, 2939 Zimmerly Rd. on Monday from 9:30 a.m. until time of service there at 11:00 a.m. conducted by the Rev. David Snyder. Private interment Fairview Cemetery. The Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd is handling all arrangements.
