Obituary of Ruby Osborne

Ruby Hall Osborne Ruby Hall Osborne, age 82, of Fairview Twp., went home to be with the Lord on Friday, February 8, 2013 at Manchester Presbyterian Lodge. She was born in Pittsyvania County, VA on September 17, 1930, the daughter of the late, John and Eva Lovelace Hall. She was employed at Efrids Department Store in Danville, VA. She was a former member of the 4H Club and First Alliance Church for well over twenty years. She enjoyed bowling, basketball, and shuffleboard. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Albert "Al" B. Osborne, Jr., on January 17, 2013. She is survived by one daughter, Deborah O. Minnick (Bruce) of FL, one son, Mark A. Osborne (Betsy I.) of TX, eight grandchildren: Bianca, Benjamin, Rubia, Roma, and Josiah Osborne and Lindsey, Morgan, and Tyler Minnick, and one sister, Gladys H. Moorefield. She was preceded in death by one sister, Janie Threatt, four brothers: Eugene, Clyde, Raymond, and Julian Hall. Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Tuesday from 7 until 9 p.m. and again on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at the First Alliance Church 2939 Zimmerly Rd. at 11:00 a.m. Private interment Fairview Cemetery.
