Richard J. Patton

Richard J. Patton, age 58, of Erie, passed away on Tuesday, May 4, 2010 with his loving daughter Shawna and close friends at his side.

Richard was born on July 20, 1951. He was the son of the late John Patton and Laverne Kaufman. Richard was in real estate and also officiated football and basketball for many years.

He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing and traveling. He was a brilliant chess player and also enjoyed playing his guitar and harmonica. His favorite hobby was playing in weekly monopoly tournaments with his daughter and good friend and fishing buddy, Scott Henning.

Survivors include two daughters; Shawna Patton of Erie and Shannon Fiorelli of Myrtle Beach, SC., two brothers; Robert and Roger Patton and his sister, Elizabeth.

No calling hours will be observed. A private service with Richard's family will be held by Pastor James Servidio. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. Private interment.
