Obituary of Timothy Quinn

Timothy K. Quinn Timothy K. Quinn was born in Hartford, CT on 04-21-1959 and moved into the Erie area at 6 months of age. Tim remained in the Erie area the rest of his life. He grew up in Millcreek Twp. and also lived in the City of Erie and Fairview Twp. over the years. Tim passed away on 11-30-2012 at his residence in Millcreek at age 53. Tim graduated from Our Lady of Peace Elementary, McDowell High School, and Gannon University. He forged a successful career as an accountant and realtor, working for many years at Spiegel Realtors, Howard Hannah Realtors, and Spiegel Management. Tim was an active member of the community throughout his life. As, a long time player, coach, and president of the MYAA organization, he was an all-around sports fanatic. Tim was the coach of both boys and girls basketball, and baseball for many years in the MYAA organization and a boy's basketball coach for two years at Our Lady's Christian School. Tim was a big fan of Gannon basketball and attended nearly every game in support of the program. Tim Quinn was a loving father, son, husband, and brother. He was involved heavily in his family's life no matter what the topic of interest was. Tim loved and enjoyed many aspects of life whether it was coaching and playing sports, tanning in his backyard, cooking and eating good food with his family. Tim was preceded in death by his father, James K. Quinn and his grandparents, Richard and Gene Quinn. Tim is survived by his children; Timothy James and Donatella Quinn, his mother Olga Quinn, his former wife Maria, his sisters Tammy Dey and Sue Harriger, his brother, Daniel Quinn, and many nephews, nieces, in-laws, loved-ones and friends. Visiting hours for Tim will be from 4:00pm-7:00pm on Tuesday, 12-03-12 at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. The funeral will be held at St. Jude's Parish on Wednesday 12-04-12 at 9:30am. After the mass the burial service will be held at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
