Lorraine M. "Peewee" Randolph
Lorraine M. "Peewee" Randolph, age 53, of Millcreek Twp. died Friday, July 18, 2008 at her residence after a courageous five year battle with ovarian cancer surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Erie on December 8, 1954, the daughter of the late Leverne C. and Evelyn Melrose Crawford. She was employed at the Blair Corp. for seventeen years. She worked hard and made a career for herself as an assistant manager. She made many good friends while at Blair. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church and participated with altar care and Youth Club. She enjoyed camping (especially, the campfire), traveling, garage sales, and crocheting.
She is survived by her husband of twenty-nine years, Richard G. Randolph, one daughter, Roberta Wellington and her husband, Timothy, of Millcreek, two sons, Christopher Shilling and his wife, Jennifer, of North East, James Randolph and his wife, Jennifer, of Fairview, four sisters: Sister Joanne Crawford of Johnsonburg, PA, Carol Brown and her husband, Joe, of Summit Twp., Lois Mello and her husband, Don, of Largo, FL, Cindy Friend and her husband, Ralph, of Erie, three brothers: Tony Crawford of Baltimore, MD, Gary Crawford and his wife, Mary, of Pleasantville, PA, Jimmy Crawford and his wife, Angie, of Akron, OH, seven grandchildren: Damian Gilland, Mikael Shilling, Blake Gilland, Aerika Shilling, Aleksis Shilling, Braeden Shilling, Dylan Green, and many nieces and nephews. Lorraine was also preceded in death by one brother, Johnny Crawford.
Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Monday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and are invited to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 3108 Sterrettania Rd. on Tuesday for the funeral service at 10:00 a.m. Private interment. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the John Kanzius Cancer Research Fund, Palace Business Centre, 915 State St., Erie, PA 16501, the Erie Regional Cancer Center, 2500 W. 12th St., Erie, PA 16505, or St. Paul's Organ Fund.
