Esther M. Rubino
Esther M. Reis Rubino, age 84, of Girard, died Wednesday, March 17, 2010 at St. Vincent Health Center after a long battle with heart problems. She was born on August 1, 1925 the daughter of the late, Charles and Amy Reis.
She was employed at the Fairview Manor and Pleasant Ridge Manor. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, homemaking, helping her son work on his cars and trucks, and winemaking.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph M. Rubino, Sr. and one sister, Phyllis. She is survived by three children: June Holt (Tom), Wanda Kertz (Lou), and Joe Rubino, two sisters; Emily and Doris, three grandchildren: Tim, Lisa, and Jen, several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Sunday from 6 p.m. until time of Memorial Service at 8:00 p.m. Private interment. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
