Obituary of Suzanne Sandell

Suzanne Canter Sandell Suzanne Canter Sandell, age 81, died peacefully with her family surrounding her on Saturday June 23, 2007 at Manchester Presbyterian Lodge. She was born on March 20, 1926, in Fairmont, WV, the daughter of the late Julian W. and Lillian Myers Canter. A life member of Christ United Methodist Church, Suzanne loved crafts, sewing, and raising birds. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Clifford M. Sandell. She is also survived by two daughters, Dr. Karen Sandell of Wilmington, NC and Linda Hammer of Millcreek; and three grandsons, Michael, Todd, and Chad Hammer. She was preceded in death by one son, Jack Sandell; two brothers, William and Jack Canter; one sister, Betty Krifka, and one son-in-law, James Hammer. Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd., on Wednesday from 5 until the time of service there at 8 p.m. Private interment. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Manchester Presbyterian Lodge Endowment, 6351 West Lake Rd., Erie, PA 16505.
